The invention provides a carbon/carbon composite material and a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of composite materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a carbon/carbon composite material precursor by taking polyolefin as matrix resin and cyclized organic fiber as a reinforcement, and carrying out chemical crosslinking treatment, optional first pyrolysis treatment, carburizing treatment and/or siliconizing treatment, second pyrolysis treatment and optional densification treatment on the carbon/carbon composite material precursor to obtain the carbon/carbon composite material. Preparing a carbon/carbon composite material; wherein the polyolefin and the cyclized organic fiber can realize synchronous shrinkage in the pyrolysis process, so that the generation of crack defects in the carbon/carbon composite material can be effectively inhibited, and the improvement of the mechanical property of the carbon/carbon composite material is facilitated; meanwhile, polyolefin thermoplastic resin is adopted as matrix resin, and the problems that traditional matrix resin (such as phenolic resin) is long in curing period and complex in forming process are effectively solved. The invention also provides the carbon/carbon composite material which is prepared by the preparation method.
