The invention relates to a supporting device for an assembly type steel structure and a supporting method thereof.The supporting device comprises a bottom mounting base, a connecting base, a supporting base, an adjusting base, an adjusting ball groove, a top mounting base, an adjusting ball and H-shaped steel, the supporting base is mounted on the bottom mounting base through the connecting base, the adjusting base is mounted on the supporting base, the adjusting ball groove is formed in the adjusting base, and the adjusting ball groove is formed in the top mounting base; an adjusting ball groove is formed in the supporting seat, an adjusting ball is movably mounted in the adjusting ball groove, a top mounting seat is mounted on the top side of the adjusting ball, H-shaped steel is mounted on the top side of the top mounting seat, and a plurality of connecting mechanisms are mounted between the supporting seat and the top mounting seat; mounting is conducted through the bottom mounting base and the embedded part, the levelness of the top mounting base is adjusted through multi-angle movement of the adjusting ball in the adjusting ball groove of the adjusting base between the bottom mounting base and the top mounting base, and then the adjusted top mounting base and a supporting base of the bottom mounting base are fixed; and therefore, the H-shaped steel mounted on the top mounting seat is ensured to be in a vertical state.
