According to the unlocking assembly and the lock cylinder set, the unlocking assembly comprises an inner core, an ejector rod and a key, the inner core is configured to be of a circular tubular structure, and a key hole is formed in the inner core; the ejector rod is installed in the key hole and matched with the inner core in a limiting mode, and a cavity is defined between the ejector rod and the hole wall of the key hole. The key comprises an insertion pipe which can be matched with the cavity in an inserted mode so that the insertion pipe and the inner core can be limited in the circumferential direction. Moreover, when the insertion pipe is matched with the cavity in an inserted mode, the ejector rod can push the dial wheel core to be inserted into the dial wheel under pushing of the key, and the inner core can be limited in the circumferential direction through the dial wheel core and the dial wheel. Therefore, on one hand, the inner core can be made of a circular tube, so that the processing cost can be reduced, the quality of the inner core product is improved, and the inner core product is prevented from being deformed due to external force; and on the other hand, the size of the cavity for inserting the insertion tube on the key on the inner core is small, and no enough space is provided for inserting tools used during technical unlocking, so that the lock cylinder applying the unlocking assembly can be prevented from being technically unlocked.
