The invention relates to a precise positioning construction method for connection of upper tower column segments, each segment comprises four parts including four walls, side walls, webs and longitudinal ribs, the four walls, the side walls, the webs and the longitudinal ribs are all provided with connecting segments, and each connecting segment is provided with a mounting hole group which is used for connection of corresponding positions between a to-be-connected segment and an erected segment. The precise positioning construction method for connection of the standard sections of the upper tower column comprises the steps that the automatic guiding device is installed; splicing plates are installed on all the connecting sections of the section to be connected with the tower; hoisting the section to be connected with the tower in place; and the splice plates of all the connecting sections are bolted and positioned through punching nails, the metal contact rate is detected after positioning, and high-strength bolts are fastened after the metal contact rate is detected to be qualified. Accurate positioning of connection of the upper tower column sections can be achieved, and the installation precision of the steel cable tower column is ensured.
