The invention discloses a construction process for applying high liquid limit soil to roadbed filling construction, which comprises the following steps of: mixing cement into the high liquid limit soil in a self-excavation section to improve and treat, and simultaneously, carrying out construction by combining two methods of reducing the virtual paving thickness and increasing the rolling times in the roadbed filling construction process; specifically, for an upper embankment and a lower embankment, the high liquid limit soil is improved by adopting a method of reducing the virtual paving thickness and increasing the rolling times; and for an upper roadbed and a lower roadbed, 3% of cement is doped into high liquid limit soil for stabilization on the basis of reducing the virtual paving thickness and increasing the rolling times. According to the method, the high-liquid-limit soil in the excavation section is reasonably utilized for filling engineering construction, reference experience can be provided for similar projects in the future through summarization of technologies and processes, and good social benefits are obtained.
