本发明属于陶瓷复合材料技术领域,具体涉及W2B5/C复合材料及其制备方法。包括以下步骤:(1)将反应碳、碳化钨、碳化硼和球磨分散剂混合,球磨,烘干,得到复合粉体;(2)将复合粉体放入石墨模具中,热压反应烧结,即得W2B5/C复合材料;其中W2B5的含量占W2B5/C复合材料总量的10~30vol.%;所述的反应碳为煅后石油焦或鳞片石墨。本发明采用热压反应烧结工艺,将碳材料和W2B5结合,所制得的W2B5/C复合材料兼有碳和陶瓷的双重优点,其耐磨性、抗氧化性以及力学性能远优于碳材料,并具有高的导电性、耐热性和耐热冲击性能,能够应用到更为广泛的领域。

Comprising the following steps: (1) mixing reaction carbon, tungsten carbide, boron carbide and a ball-milling dispersant, ball-milling, and drying to obtain composite powder; (2) putting the composite powder into a graphite mold, and carrying out hot-pressing reaction sintering to obtain a W2B5/C composite material; wherein the content of W2B5 accounts for 10-30 vol.% of the total amount of the W2B5/C composite material; the reaction carbon is calcined petroleum coke or crystalline flake graphite. According to the W2B5/C composite material and the preparation method thereof, the carbon material and the W2B5 are combined by adopting a hot-pressing reaction sintering process, the prepared W2B5/C composite material has the dual advantages of carbon and ceramic, the wear resistance, the oxidation resistance and the mechanical property of the W2B5/C composite material are far superior to those of the carbon material, and the W2B5/C composite material has high conductivity, heat resistance and thermal shock resistance and can be applied to wider fields.
