The invention relates to a solar photovoltaic adjustable roof and a control method thereof.The solar photovoltaic adjustable roof comprises a roof body, a plurality of photovoltaic panel adjusting pieces are arranged on the roof body, each photovoltaic panel adjusting piece comprises an outer pipe and an inner pipe, the inner pipe is located in the outer pipe, a second arc-shaped opening is formed in one side of the inner pipe, and the second arc-shaped opening is located in the outer pipe; the waterproof flexible photovoltaic panel is attached to the arc-shaped outer surface of the other side of the inner pipe, a first arc-shaped opening is formed in one side of the outer pipe, the water-absorbing cleaning brush is attached to the arc-shaped inner surface of the other side of the outer pipe, and the water storage cavity of the inner pipe can be opened or closed by rotating the outer pipe. Cleaning and cooling water in the water storage cavity not only can clean the water-absorbing cleaning brush, but also can cool the waterproof flexible photovoltaic panel; and the outer pipe and the inner pipe rotate relatively, so that the water-absorbing cleaning brush can remove dust on the surface of the waterproof flexible photovoltaic panel, and cleaning cooling water in the water storage cavity can be discharged when the second arc-shaped opening reaches the position overlapped with the first arc-shaped opening.
