The concrete prepared from the tailing sand comprises the following components in parts by mass: 150-155 parts of water; 265 to 270 parts of cement; 40 to 45 parts of fly ash; 750 to 800 parts of tailing sand; 1050 to 1100 parts of broken stone; 27 to 33 parts of composite whisker; 4-6 parts of an additive; the composite crystal whiskers are compounded from calcium titanate crystal whiskers, silicon nitride crystal whiskers and magnesium borate crystal whiskers. The method has the advantage of improving the strength of the concrete.
