The invention provides a sodium polyacrylate modified asphalt mixture and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of preparation of highway pavement materials. The sodium polyacrylate modified asphalt mixture comprises the following raw materials: sodium polyacrylate, asphalt, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and mineral powder, wherein the doping amount of the sodium polyacrylate in the sodium polyacrylate modified asphalt mixture is 2%. Sodium polyacrylate has extremely high water absorption and can rapidly absorb water in cracks and expand when micro cracks appear on a pavement, so that the cracks are filled to form soft and amorphous hydrogel, water flow in the cracks or the cracks is effectively inhibited, the water is prevented from further corroding the pavement structure, and the water stability of the asphalt mixture is remarkably improved; and the asphalt pavement is endowed with crack filling and permeation blocking functions.
本发明提出了一种聚丙烯酸钠改性沥青混合料及其制备方法，属于公路路面材料的制备技术领域。本发明的聚丙烯酸钠改性沥青混合料原料包括聚丙烯酸钠、沥青、粗集料、细集料和矿粉，所述聚丙烯酸钠在聚丙烯酸钠改性沥青混合料中的掺量为2％。聚丙烯酸钠具有极高的吸水性，当路面出现微裂缝时会迅速吸收裂缝中的水分并膨胀，从而填充裂缝形成柔软且无定形的水凝胶，有效地抑制裂缝或裂纹中的水流，防止水分进一步侵蚀路面结构，显著提升沥青混合料的水稳定性，赋予沥青路面裂缝填充和渗透阻塞的功能。
