A curtain type semi-submersible flexible breakwater relates to the technical field of breakwaters, the flexible breakwater is arranged at a double effective wave height below a designed high water level of fluid a, two flexible porous films arranged side by side are arranged on two sides of a central axis of the bottom of the flexible breakwater, and weights for tensioning the flexible porous water-permeable films are arranged at the bottoms of the flexible porous water-permeable films. The curtain type semi-submersible flexible breakwater comprises a flexible porous water-permeable thin film and a fluid a, the fluid a is arranged in the flexible porous water-permeable thin film and used for keeping the shape and tension of the flexible porous water-permeable thin film, the flexible breakwater can suspend in the fluid a, and an anchoring device used for fixing the flexible breakwater underwater is arranged at the bottom of the flexible breakwater. The wave attenuation structure can effectively resist impact of waves on the structure in the marine environment, especially has a remarkable attenuation effect on medium and long waves which are difficult to eliminate in the ocean, and in addition, the structure has good adaptability and economical efficiency and can be widely applied to the fields of coast protection engineering and the like.
