The invention discloses a trencher for laying submarine cables in an intertidal zone, and relates to the field of submarine cable laying equipment. When an existing intertidal zone submarine cable is laid in a pre-trenching mode through an amphibious excavator, a trench is easily scoured and filled by tide water, a construction window period exists, the effective operation time is short, and the construction efficiency is low. The device comprises a cutting mechanism, a high-pressure injection device, a sludge discharging device, a main body supporting beam, a crawler-type driving device, a buoyancy adjusting device, a propeller driving device and a cable carrying device. The crawler-type driving device, the buoyancy adjusting device and the propeller driving device can conveniently adapt to the sea-like non-sea and land-like non-land construction environment in an intertidal zone, the high-pressure injection device and the mud discharging device are matched with the cutting mechanism to conduct ditching, the cable carrying device is wound with a submarine cable of a landing section, and the cable is laid behind a ditch; and then the ditch is covered by the mud discharging device to complete cable laying, so that the laying efficiency of the submarine cable in the intertidal zone is effectively improved.
