The invention provides a steel connection assembly type frame structure and a support-free construction method, and aims to simplify the construction process of an assembly type concrete structure, realize support-free installation and improve the construction efficiency. The structure comprises a prefabricated column, a prefabricated beam and a prefabricated floor slab, embedded profile steel is arranged in the prefabricated column and extends out of the side face of the prefabricated column, an I-shaped steel connecting piece is arranged at the end of the prefabricated beam, and full-length cantilever supports are arranged on the two sides of the prefabricated beam. I-shaped steel connecting pieces at the ends of the prefabricated column and the prefabricated beam are step-shaped and matched, support plates are respectively arranged at the upper contact part and the lower contact part, the prefabricated beam and the prefabricated column realize rigid connection of profile steel through welding, and meanwhile, stirrups and constructional steel bars are arranged outside profile steel connecting sections and are completely connected through post-pouring concrete.
