The invention relates to a preparation technology of photovoltaic manufacturing equipment parts, and aims to provide a method for performing surface density modification on boat pieces of a graphite boat. The method comprises the following steps: preparing an acidic solution A from a polyaminobenzene heterocyclic compound, an acid solution, an anionic surfactant and a proper amount of a solvent; putting a boat piece of a graphite boat with a clean surface into the solution A, standing and soaking for modification reaction; then continuously adding a solution B prepared from a nitroso compound and a proper amount of a solvent, and continuously standing and soaking so as to continuously carry out a modification reaction; and taking out the boat piece, washing the boat piece with deionized water, and drying the boat piece to obtain the boat piece for assembling the graphite boat. According to the method, the boat piece of the graphite boat is modified by utilizing diazotization reaction, so that the modified boat piece has the characteristics of high surface density and low pulverization degree. The process has the advantages of easily available raw materials and low cost; an aqueous solvent system is low in emission; the soaking or spraying process is adopted, operation is easy, and the technological process is few.
