The embodiment of the invention relates to an improvement method of silty soil in a yellow flooding area, a roadbed material and application, and the improvement method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the silty soil in the yellow flooding area, a light-cured water-based emulsion and an electrolyte slow-release carrier to obtain remolded soil; a cathode and an anode are partially embedded into the remolded soil, the remolded soil is compacted, the parts, extending out of the remolded soil, of the cathode and the anode are connected with an external power source in the compacting process, and the cathode and the anode are powered on through the external power source; and after compaction molding, the connection between the cathode and the anode and an external power supply is cut off, the parts, extending out of the remolded soil, of the cathode and the anode are connected through a wire, the remolded soil is maintained, and the improved soil is obtained. The improvement method provided by the invention can solve the problems of poor performance, poor water stability during application and low mechanical property of the existing low-liquid-limit sand-containing silt after improvement.
