The invention discloses a mixed anti-beam-falling device and a using method thereof. The mixed anti-beam-falling device comprises a first connecting piece, a second connecting piece, a limiting component and an energy consumption component. The first connecting piece is fixedly arranged on one side of the bridge pier; the second connecting piece is fixedly arranged at the bottom end of the bridge superstructure; the limiting component and the energy consumption component are connected with the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece through a first plug pin and a second plug pin respectively. The limiting component and the energy consumption component are arranged at proper positions of a bridge through the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece, and meanwhile, when a small-grade earthquake and a medium-grade earthquake happen, the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece move relatively, so that internal components of the energy consumption component rotate relatively, and earthquake vibration energy is dissipated; when a large-level earthquake occurs, the energy dissipation component moves to the limit position in the limiting component, the limiting component provides the limit bearing capacity, and the beam falling prevention function is further achieved.
