The invention provides a construction method of a bridge closure section, which comprises the following steps that a cable crane is moved to a hoisting position in a no-load manner, and a transport ship transports a beam section to a position below the hoisting position; the secondary closure section is lifted to the position higher than the designed elevation through a cable loading crane, the traction system is used for pulling the secondary closure section to swing towards the side span side so as to be close to the side span beam section, and the secondary closure section is connected with a sling and is temporarily connected with the adjacent beam section; after installation of other secondary closure sections is completed, the cable loading crane lifts the main closure section from the transport ship to the position flush with the installed beam section, and the main closure section is connected with a permanent sling; and a three-way adjusting device is installed at the top of the transition pier, the position of the side span beam section adjusted through the three-way adjusting device is connected with the closure section on a construction site, and therefore closure of the bridge is completed. The main cable of the suspension bridge is matched with the cable loading crane and the winch to complete bridge closure, the construction efficiency is high, temporary supporting is not needed, and construction of supports on a construction site is reduced.
