The invention discloses a novel steel-wood combined joint applied to a free-form surface single-layer wood reticulated shell. The novel steel-wood combined joint comprises a connector (1), an angle adjusting mechanism, a steel-wood connecting part and the like. Topological optimization design is carried out on the light-weight and high-strength performance of the connector (1); the rotatable connecting plate (3) and the lug plate (4) are used for adjusting the inner/outer included angle of the plane; and the steel sleeve (7) and the steel clamping plate (10) are connected with the wood rod piece (9) through the split bolt (8) and the structural adhesive. According to the two-stage construction method of the joint, in the first stage, the angle of the joint is adjusted to adapt to the spatial position of a wood rod piece (9), a rotating screw (2) is screwed down, and a rivet shaft (5) is inserted for fixing; and in the second stage, welding is carried out between the connecting plate (3) and the connector (1) and between the connecting plate (3) and the lug plate (4). The novel steel-wood combined joint has the advantages of being light in weight, high in strength, reliable in connection, good in geometric adaptability and the like, and is suitable for a single-layer wood reticulated shell structure of any curved surface form and grid topology.
