The invention discloses a preparation method of a roadbed filler based on sludge, and belongs to the technical field of road engineering, and the method comprises the following steps: collecting part of sludge in advance, removing large-particle impurities, airing the sludge, and triturating the sludge after airing to prepare dry sludge particles; the method comprises the steps that the maximum particle size of muck in sludge is preset, muck exceeding the preset maximum particle size of muck in the sludge is filtered out through a filtering device, impurities in the sludge are removed, and the water content of the sludge is made to range from 50% to 60%; sludge particles and a stabilizer are added into the pretreated sludge, the sludge particles, the stabilizer and the sludge are fully stirred and turned, and granules are obtained; and adding a plasticizer and a hardening agent into the granules, and fully stirring, turning and throwing the plasticizer, the hardening agent and the granules to obtain the roadbed filler. The roadbed filler is low in cost and good in stability.
