The invention discloses an impact hammer for a pile driver. The impact hammer comprises a hammer body, a hammer tile and a fixing piece. The hammer body extends outwards in the radial direction to form a plurality of hammer limbs. A connecting surface is constructed on the periphery of the hammer limb, and the plurality of hammer tiles are detachably fixed on the connecting surface through the fixing pieces; the multiple hammer tiles on one connecting face form a hammer tile set, and the thickness of the hammer tile set is adjustable in the diameter direction of the hammer body. A hollow hammer cap is arranged at the top of the hammer body and is used for accommodating a balancing weight; the impact hammer further comprises a first limiting piece, and the first limiting piece is detachably connected with the hammer cap so as to limit the balancing weight to be separated from the hammer cap. The impact hammer has wide applicability to punching operation under various engineering general conditions through reducing and weight adjusting, so that the construction efficiency is improved, and the construction cost is saved.
