The invention discloses a treatment method for ballast railway expansive rock-soil roadbed frost boiling and mud pumping. The treatment method comprises the steps that foundation bed soil texture expansion potentials are graded according to clay component and content test data; calculating the average annual precipitation; investigating subgrade frost boiling degree, and performing statistical analysis to determine the basic characteristics of frost boiling; determining the drainage blocking degree; investigating rail surface abrasion, direction and height change conditions of the steel rail and triangular pits, and determining the state of the steel rail; according to a calculation result, performing grade division on the frost boiling and mud rising diseases; and according to the grade of the mud pumping disease, determining a corresponding toughness rapid-rising strength anti-seepage waterproof protective layer and a specific treatment scheme. According to the construction method of the foundation bed surface layer toughness rapid strength anti-seepage protection layer, the overall strength of the foundation bed surface layer is improved, the hydraulic connection between atmospheric precipitation and hydrophilic minerals of a rock-soil body of the foundation bed surface layer is blocked, a toughness water-resisting layer with certain strength is rapidly formed, and the construction method is suitable for rapid construction of an existing running railway line; and the disease is radically treated from the source of frost boiling and mud rising of the roadbed.
