The invention provides an asphalt pavement detection device, which comprises: a shell, the four corners of the bottom end of the shell are all provided with universal pulleys, and the center of the bottom end is provided with a detection port; the number of the partition plates is two, and the partition plates are sequentially arranged in the shell and divide the interior of the shell into three cavities. The lifting detection mechanism is arranged in the lowermost cavity in the shell, and a detection part on the lifting detection mechanism can penetrate out of the detection opening to detect the asphalt pavement below the lifting detection mechanism; the battery is arranged in the shell and is placed on one of the partition plates; the data processor is arranged in the shell and is placed on the other partition plate; and the control and display panel is arranged at the top of the shell. Through the lifting detection mechanism, a detection part can automatically stretch out of a detection opening, detection data are processed through the data processor, a result is displayed through the control and display panel, and through the design, the automation level of detection is greatly improved, manual intervention is reduced, and the detection efficiency and precision are improved.
