A vibratory pile driver comprising a vibratory system and at least a clamping mechanism for attaching the vibratory pile driver to a pile, wherein the vibratory pile driver is provided with a pivoting mechanism such that at least the vi- bratory system is rotatable from a loading position wherein the vibratory system is horizontal to a pile driving position wherein the vibratory system is vertical.
