MOTOR DRIVEN DOOR ASSEMBLY
A motor driven shielded door assembly (10) is provided. A door hinge assembly (90) has a bottom hinge (92) and a top hinge (94), and a motor assembly (30) is connected to a door frame (20) and directly connected to at least one of the bottom hinge (92) and the top hinge (94). The motor assembly (90) has an axis ofrotation aligned with an axis ofrotation of the door hinge assembly (90). A door (40) is connected to the door hinge assembly (90). A bottom bearing assembly (70) supports the bottom hinge (92) and carries substantially all of the door's weight. The motor assembly (30) directly drives the door hinge assembly (90) to open and close the door (40) via a support (34) that is fixed to the motor assembly (30).
