VALVE SYSTEM, PIPING MANIFOLD AND PUMP SYSTEM
The present disclosure is directed to a valve system (13) fluidly connectable to a pump system (1) comprising at least one pump assembly (3) being fluidly connectable to a pipe (5), wherein the valve system (13) comprises at least one valve (15) comprising a pipe section (39) of the pipe (5), wherein the pipe section (39) defines a primary flow direction (19),wherein the at least one valve (15) further comprises a valve opening (41) in the pipe section (39), a valve seat (43) and a valve body (45), wherein the valve opening (41), the valve seat (43) and the valve body (45) define a common valve axis (47) extending transversely to the primary flow direction (19), wherein the at least one valve (15) further comprises an operating element (49) arranged at the pipe section (39) diametrically opposite from the valve opening (41), wherein the operating element (49) is configured to control the valve body (45) for selectively operating in a check-valve mode, in which the valve body (45) is movable along the valve axis (47) to open the valve opening (41) upon a fluid flow from the valve opening (41) towards the valve body (45), and wherein the operating element (49) is configured to control the valve body (45) for selectively operating in a shut off-valve mode, in which the valve body (45) is fixed against the valve seat (43) to close the valve opening (41) for any fluid flow direction.

The present disclosure is directed to a valve system (13) fluidly connectable to a pump system (1) comprising at least one pump assembly (3) being fluidly connectable to a pipe (5), wherein the valve system (13) comprises at least one valve (15) comprising a pipe section (39) of the pipe (5), wherein the pipe section (39) defines a primary flow direction (19),wherein the at least one valve (15) further comprises a valve opening (41) in the pipe section (39), a valve seat (43) and a valve body (45), wherein the valve opening (41), the valve seat (43) and the valve body (45) define a common valve axis (47) extending transversely to the primary flow direction (19), wherein the at least one valve (15) further comprises an operating element (49) arranged at the pipe section (39) diametrically opposite from the valve opening (41), wherein the operating element (49) is configured to control the valve body (45) for selectively operating in a check-valve mode, in which the valve body (45) is movable along the valve axis (47) to open the valve opening (41) upon a fluid flow from the valve opening (41) towards the valve body (45), and wherein the operating element (49) is configured to control the valve body (45) for selectively operating in a shut off-valve mode, in which the valve body (45) is fixed against the valve seat (43) to close the valve opening (41) for any fluid flow direction.
