Insulating glazing (II) at least comprising a first pane (21), a second pane (22) and a peripheral frame (R) made up of spacers (I) which each have a first pane contact face (2.1), a second pane contact face (2.2) extending parallel thereto, a glazing cavity face (3), an outer face (4) and end faces (5.1, 5.2) which are perpendicular to the direction of extent of the pane contact faces (2.1, 2.2), wherein - the first pane (21) is mounted on the first pane contact face (2.1), and the second pane (22) is mounted on the second pane contact face (2.2), the frame (R) encloses a glazing cavity (16) which is enclosed by portions of the glazing cavity faces (3) of the spacers (I), - the outer face (4), which is situated opposite the glazing cavity face (3) of the spacers (I), encloses an outer pane interspace (17) together with the first pane (21) and the second pane (22), and each spacer (I) has two ends and, at its one end, contacts the adjoining spacer (I), which is situated on an adjacent edge of the frame (R), by its second end face (5.2), and, at its other end, contacts the adjoining spacer (I) by its glazing cavity face (3), and its first end face (5.1) points in the direction of the outer pane interspace (17).
