FIRE RESISTANT MEMBER, FIRE PREVENTING STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING FIRE PREVENTING STRUCTURE
A fire resistant member (1) consists mainly of a foam body (13a), which is a first foam body, and metal tape (5), for example. The form body (13a) is a resin foam body, and is a flame-retardant sponge such as urethane. A thermal expansion material (8) is dispersed inside the foam body (13a). The foam body (13a) is rolled up to form a cylindrical body (3). That is, a slit (11) is formed in the axial direction of the cylindrical body (3), at an abutting portion of end surfaces of the foam body (13a), in a portion of the cylindrical body (3) in the circumferential direction, and the slit (11) allows the cylindrical body (3) to be opened in a C-shape. A plurality of incisions (9a) are formed in both end parts of the cylindrical body (3), forming tongue-shaped pieces (7a), which are first tongue-shaped pieces. The tongue-shaped pieces (7a) are folded toward a central direction in both end parts of the cylindrical body (3). Opening portions at both ends of the cylindrical body (3) are substantially closed by the plurality of tongue-shaped pieces (7a).
