SHOWER HANDSET HOLDER
A shower handset holder (1 figure 1) with a body 5, and a deformable constriction member 2, which surrounds at least half the circumference of the slide rail (14 figure 5) and one or more actuation members 11 which, when in an unactuated configuration, contact surface of the constriction member and in an actuated configuration reduces the frictional force on the slide rail. The constriction member may be biased to grip the slide rail which may be with a spring 17. The holder may include one or more input members 3, which act on the actuation members 11 which also may be biased against an applied force with springs 7. The input members may be buttons 3. The constriction member may be a broken ring with two ends. In response to an applied force the actuation members may expand the circumference of the constriction member. The actuation members may transmit force via a slidably engageable contact surface, which may be arranged to transfer the direction of force through 90 degrees. A shower rail apparatus and kit of parts which includes a holder and rail is also claimed and a method of altering the height of the shower rail.
