The invention relates to a bracket for mounting a shower handset S on a support, (e.g. a nipple pipe 4 figure 11) of a bath-shower mixer tap set T of a bath or basin. The bracket comprises a shaft 2 having proximal and distal ends a mounting means (1 figure 7a) provided at the proximal end of the shaft 2 for mounting the bracket on the mixer tap portion 4, and a retaining means (3 figure 7a) provided at the distal end of the shaft 2 for releasably retaining the shower handset S at the distal end of the shaft 2. The shower handset S may thus be mounted over an open top or mouth of the bath/basin, spaced from the mixer tap set and a rim or edge portion of the bath/basin. The hose of the shower handset may hang downwardly in a loop within the bath/basin with the head of the shower handset extending upwardly. Later embodiments relate to a method of mounting a shower handset and a kit of parts.
