The present disclosure relates to a mold for glass forming, wherein the mold comprises a ceramic material comprising from 35 to 70 percent by weight of hexagonal boron nitride, from 30 to 65 percent by weight of zirconium dioxide, and from 1 to 20 percent by weight of silicon carbide, based on the total weight of the ceramic material.The present disclosure further relates to methods of forming glass components using said mold.
