MANHOLE INSPECTION UNIT FOR VATS OR TANKS, TANK AND INSTALLATION METHOD OF AN INSPECTION UNIT
An inspection unit (1) for vats or tanks comprising a frame (2) at least partially housable inside a through opening (A) of a wall (P) of the vat or tank (S) and having a peripheral undercut (3) defining at least partially a passage opening between an inner environment and an environment outside the vat or tank (S). The inspection unit 1 further comprises a door (4) hinged to the frame (2) and reversibly movable between a closing position, in which it is substantially abutting against an abutment portion (5) of the frame (2), and an opening position. Furthermore, the inspection unit 1 comprises a locking device (6) connected or connectable to the door (4) and activatable on a stop portion (7) of the frame (2) to generate a clamping force (F) adapted to push said door (4) against the abutment portion (5). In particular, the undercut (3) defines at least partially the abutment portion (5) and/or the stop portion (7).
