La presente invención se refiere a un codo de brazo articulado con el elemento de tensión oculto aplicable a brazos de toldos conuna configuración en la que el elemento de tensión no solo no esvisible desde el exterior sino que queda separado de la superficie interna del núcleo de la articulación evitando daños sobre la superficie y sobre el propio elemento de tensión. El elemento de tensión empleado es una cadena a la que se incorpora al menos unalámina exterior o interior o ambas semirígidas vinculadas entre sí para evitar desplazamientos relativos. La invención comprende un conjunto de soluciones particulares que permiten la vinculaciónentre una y otra lámina semirígida.
