Dispositivo de retención, sistema de retención entre una pieza hembra y una pieza macho, y pieza hembra y macho para garantizar la retención entre un elemento de desgaste o diente y un elemento adaptador o portadientes usados en máquinas excavadoras y similares. La pieza hembra, que puede ser un elemento de desgaste o diente, o un elemento adaptador o portadientes, comprende, auto-fijado al mismo, un dispositivo de retención que participa en el acoplamiento con un pasador de la pieza hembra con una pieza macho, y evita que el pasador se salga de su posición de bloqueo, manteniendo la fijación entre las dos piezas, pieza macho y pieza hembra. El acoplamiento entre ambas piezas es desmontable, permite retirar el pasador del acoplamiento y sustituir la pieza hembra o pieza macho junto al dispositivo de retención. Dicho dispositivo de retención está formado por uno o más elementos tensores unidos.
