Una estructura base (10) para aguas poco profundas, preferiblemente para almacenar y cargar, o descargar hidrocarburos, tales como GNL, petróleo o gas, que comprende una subestructura flotante y extraíble (10) de lecho marino destinada a ser soportada por un lecho marino (30), comprendiendo la subestructura (10) de lecho marino una estructura de viga (11) provista de una estructura de pared (22) que se extiende hacia arriba, dispuesta a lo largo de al menos una parte de la periferia de la estructura base (10), caracterizada por que - las paredes laterales que se extienden hacia arriba están provistas de dispositivos de flotabilidad, - la estructura base (10) está provista de una abertura (23) en la estructura de pared (22) para permitir que un módulo flotante sea atracado en, y soportado por, la subestructura (10) de lecho marino, - la estructura base (10) está provista de puntos fuertes (24) configurados para recibir los extremos de pilotes verticales preinstalados (14) para al menos un soporte temporal de la estructura base (10) durante una operación de pilotaje para fijar permanente la estructura base (10) con pilotes al lecho marino (30), - los puntos fuertes (24) están formados por elementos que se extienden lateralmente hacia fuera desde la estructura base (10).
This publication relates to a shallow water terminal, preferably for storing and loading or unloading hydrocarbons, such as LNG, oil or gas. The base structure comprises a floatable, and removable seabed substructure (10) intended to be supported by a seabed (30), the seabed substructure (10) comprising a base structure (11) provided preferably with an upwards extending wall structure (22), arranged along at least a part of the periphery of the base structure (11), the base structure (10) preferably also being provided with an opening (23) in the wall structure (22) for allowing the floatable module to be berthed in and supported by the seabed substructure (10). The base structure (10) is provided with strong points (24) configured to receive the ends of preinstalled vertical piles (14) for at least temporary support of the base structure (11) during a piling operation for permanent piling of the base structure (10) to the sea bed (30). The publication also relates to a method for piling a base structure on or above a seabed (30).
