L'invention concerne un dispositif d'arrêt de porte, comportant un bras de liaison (1) et un mécanisme de verrouillage (2), l'un étant rendu solidaire de l'ouvrant de la porte, l'autre du dormant, ledit bras de liaison (1) comportant au moins une face (11) destinée à coopérer avec un élément de freinage (21) venant en appui sur ladite face (11) du bras de liaison (1), ledit élément de freinage (21) étant commandé par un élément de blocage (23) venant en appui dans une encoche (211) prévue sur l'élément de freinage (21), ledit élément de blocage (23) coopérant avec des moyens de rappel élastique (24) destinés à exercer une pression de l'élément de blocage (23) sur l'élément de freinage (21), permettant ainsi le maintien relatif de la porte en position ouverte dans une position quelconque entre la position fermée et la pleine ouverture. Le dispositif selon l'invention est particulièrement destiné aux portes des véhicules automobiles.
Disclosed is a door-stopping device, including a linking arm and a locking mechanism, one being rigidly connected to the leaf of the door and the other to the frame, the linking arm including at least one face intended for engaging with a braking element resting on the face of the linking arm, the braking element being controlled by a blocking element resting in a notch provided on the braking element, the blocking element engaging with resilient return element intended for exerting a pressure of the blocking element on the braking element, thus allowing the relative holding of the door in open position in any given position between the closed and fully-open positions. The device is particularly applicable to motor vehicle doors.
