The invention relates to a door-stopping device comprising a connecting arm (1) and a locking mechanism (2), one being secured to the door leaf, and the other to the frame, said connecting arm (1) comprising at least one face provided with a plurality of successive notches (11), in each of which a blocking element (21) can be housed, said blocking element being subjected to the effect of elastic return means (22), while a mobile carriage (3) can slide along the connecting arm (1) on which it is mounted, at the same time providing a certain resistance to movement. Said mobile carriage (3) comprises inclined ramps (32) for holding the blocking element (21) outside the notches (11) during the phases during which the door-locking device is in the unlocked mode. The device according to the invention is particularly applicable to motor vehicle doors.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'arrêt de porte, comportant un bras de liaison (1) et un mécanisme de verrouillage (2), l'un étant rendu solidaire de l'ouvrant de la porte, l'autre du dormant, ledit bras de liaison (1) comportant au moins une face munie d'une multitude d'encoches (11) qui se succèdent, dans chacune desquelles peut venir se loger un élément de blocage (21) soumis à l'effet de moyens de rappel élastique (22), tandis qu'un chariot mobile (3) peut coulisser le long du bras de liaison (1) sur lequel il est monté, tout en offrant une certaine résistance au déplacement. Ledit chariot mobile (3) comporte des rampes inclinées (32) destinées à retenir l'élément de blocage (21) en dehors des encoches (11) pendant les phases où le dispositif d'arrêt de porte est en mode déverrouillé. Le dispositif selon l'invention est particulièrement destiné aux portes des véhicules automobiles.
