The lock (100) contains a stator (3), inside which there is a rotor (2), made with the possibility of rotation relative to the stator (3), and a lever (40) rigidly connected to the rotor (2). The lever (40) contains the base (70) of the lever rigidly connected to the rotor (2), and an elongated part (80) of the lever, made with the possibility of moving relative to the base (70) of the lever between the insertion position, in which the elongated part (80) of the lever is located within the stator dimension (3), and the attachment position, in which the elongated part (80) of the lever protrudes in relation to the stator dimension (3). A method for installing a lock and a key assembly, including a lock and a locking device, are also proposed.EFFECT: possibility to install the lock without disconnecting the lever with the rotor, which simplifies the installation of the lock by reducing the number of installation stages and assembly time, while the configuration of the lever makes it possible to use the lock on the right and left doors of the vehicle.12 cl, 5 dwg
