A roofing sheet fixing encapsulation device comprises a weatherproof cap 1 that, in use, does not contact the fixing 3. The device may be fitted in conjunction with a liquid roofing system that bonds the device to a roofing sheet 2. One or more channels 4 may be provided in the device for containing the liquid roofing system to form a weatherproof seal. The device may be configured for use with flat roofing sheets or with sheets having a corrugated or box profiles.
