Improvements in and relating to bollards and barriers
The bollard or barrier apparatus, particularly for use as a vehicle impact barrier, comprises a number of posts elements 30 each comprising upper 31 and lower 32 parts joined by a bend 33 of at least 250 degrees which forms a loop between the two parts. A coupling element 34 passes through the loop of each post element to retain the elements together such that the lower parts extend transversely relative to the coupling element to provide a foot upon which the bollard or barrier is supported in an upright position. The lower part of one or more post elements is preferably provided with a further loop or bend of at least 180 degrees through which a further coupling element can pass to provide additional coupling between post elements. Also claimed is a kit of parts for a bollard or barrier.
