A seal assembly for use in an enclosure, for housing an MRI scanner or like machine is provided. The seal assembly comprises at least one continuous length of an electrically conductive strip 14, 16 for attachment to adjoining side and upper surfaces of a frame in which a door locates when closed, and a further continuous length of an electrically conductive strip 18 for sealing the under-surface of the door relative to the frame when closed. Each such continuous length of an electrically conductive strip 14, 16, 18 comprises a compressible flexible core material 20 located within an electrically conductive flexible sheath 22 which comprises a knit mesh of a metallic material. Further disclosures relate to a door and frame assembly including such a seal assembly, a flexible seal for such a seal assembly, and an enclosure incorporating such a seal assembly.
