Improvements relating to roofing structures
The barrier 10 comprises a first member 12 for location against a wall 22, and a second member 14 for location between a spandrel panel and a surface of a building structure. The first and second members may be orthogonal. The barrier may be elongate and comprise a fire-rated mineral wool core encapsulated in a plastic protective layer. The first member may be resilient or compressible to form an air-tight seal between the leaves of a cavity wall. The second member may be resilient or compressible to form an air-tight seal between a spandrel panel and a building structure surface. The barrier may be L-shaped or U-shaped. Also claimed is a spandrel panel comprising the barrier. Also claimed is a roof structure comprising a roof, a spandrel panel, and the barrier. Also claimed is a building comprising a cavity party wall having leaves 18, 20, and a spandrel panel supported by the first leaf so the first barrier member is between the leaves and the second member is between the spandrel panel and the first leaf.
