Hoarding support and hoarding system
A hoarding support comprising a planar base plate 110, a post 120 pivotally mounted to the base plate at a first position, and a brace 130 pivotally mounted to the base plate at a second position spaced from the first position. The second end of the brace is connected to the post intermediate the first and second ends of the post at one of a plurality of possible positions, for example using mounting holes, which provide a range of different angles of the post relative to the base plate, including vertical. The range of angles may be 80 degrees to 100 degrees. Ballast may be placed on the base plate. The base plate may be planar with no upstanding edges. The angle of the post can be adjusted to accommodate ground slope or to reduce wind loading. The base plate, post, and brace may be metal. Also claimed is a hoarding system comprising a plurality of the supports attached to one or more hoarding panels.
