Tank internal inspection, overflow and venting apparatus
An inspection and venting apparatus for a water tank comprising a pipe with an upper and lower end, a gland located between the ends and arranged to provide a seal between the exterior of the conduit and the base wall of a tank in use, an access portion below the gland with a first portion which runs parallel with the conduit and a second portion which runs perpendicular and forms an overflow vent 134 wherein a removable cap is provided to close the first portion and a filter is provided between the vent 134 and the gland. The gland may employ an annular collar 24 with a screw to provide the seal. A water tank with a heater, a recirculation pump and UV steriliser may be provided with a connection to the mains. The apparatus may be used to allow a video camera to be led into the tank for inspection and be part of an emergency shower.
