A catcher device 1 mounted or presented near a wash basin, kitchen sink, utility sink or a shower which is capable of catching or diverting water for reuse to avoid fresh water waste. The device 1 could be fitted on either a swivel 5, at the side or below a wash basin 6, with a pipe 7, through another swivel 5, to a catchment such as a container 8, or a hand jug 9. The device 1, could catch the water from a suitable (regular or mixer) tap 3, which would enable the device 1, to be fixed through the back of a sink 2. The device 1, could operate at a sink or shower, and could be formed in the original design of a wash basin, kitchen sink, utility sink or a shower, so that the water 4, could be drained to a container 8, and/or a toilet cistern 10, gardening watering apparatus or for cleaning.
