Attachment for shovels and spades for dog waste removal
An attachment 1 for shovels or spades for dog waste removal comprises a collar section having a round tubed collar fitting 7 with a hinged opening and closing section through which the socket section 5 of the shovel or spade can pass. The attachment collar comprises leg clips 4, 6 obtusely angled downward from its right and left sides with convexly curved rim clips having ends which attach onto a bag rim frame held below the attachment collar fitting. A dog poop bag 8 is releasably attached to the bag rim 3 for the collection of waste directed from the blade of the shovel or spade. The collar interior may have a soft, compressible foam lining to allow for different sizes of shovel or spade. The hinged section of the collar may be secured by two closure tabs. The front edge 21 of the bag may be located under the rear edge of the shovel blade. The legs may have curved rim clips to flex and clip underneath the bag rim.
