A hinge suitable for connecting a two-part bottom rail C1, C2 of a pleated blind that allows a top stack-blind to be fitted to non-symmetrical window such as a trapezoid-shaped window. The hinge has a first and second bracket 10, 20 where each bracket is connected to a first and second components C2, C1, that are extrusions that form the base rail. A link member 30 positioned between the brackets has two separately spaced pivot points, that pivotally connect the brackets to the link member, so that they rotate in the same plane. Control means, in the form of geared like protrusions and recesses (15A/B, 25A/B, fig 4) on the brackets, allows the brackets to rotate in opposite directions by the same angular amount during use. Preferably each bracket has a pair of arms 12,13, 22, 23 that engage with hinge pins 14,24 that extend through an oval link member; and a projection that engages with extrusions that have channels (17,27, fig 4) in the upper face channels. Preferably when the brackets are pivoted at an angle to each other, a curved channel is formed (see fig 4) that supports the pleated material.
