PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cock capable of further surely and easily discriminating a plurality of water discharge control states such as an automatic water discharge state and a manual water discharge state.SOLUTION: An automatic cock comprises: a water discharge part 1 having a water discharge port 1a: a detection sensor part 2 for detecting an object in a detection area lower than the water discharge part 1a; a control part 27 for automatically controlling water discharge and water cutoff based on a detection signal from the detection sensor part 2; and a manual operation part 3 for manually operating the water discharge and the water cutoff from the water discharge port 1a in a switching manner. In addition to this, the detection sensor part 2 detects the object in the detection area, and also one display part 26 is provided in the water discharge part 1, for respectively identifiably displaying a plurality of water discharge control states including at least an automatic water discharge state of automatically discharging water and a manual water discharge state of discharging water by operation of the manual operation part.
