PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepladder type workbench for enabling safe work by enclosing a work space on a floor top plate by a frame body, and achieving safety and convenience when an operator gets on and off the floor top plate.SOLUTION: The stepladder type workbench is provided with a frame body (6) for enclosing the three sides of the work space except for an entrance (35) facing to a lifting leg (2A), and constitutes an opening-closing mechanism (36) having left-right rods (37) for freely opening-closing the entrance (35) from the left-right. The stepladder type workbench is also provided with a journaling mechanism (38) for rotatably journaling the left-right rods (37) with left-right frames (9) of the frame body (6) as fixing shaft means (40) and a lock mechanism (39) for engageably-disengageably locking and fixing the left-right rods (37) to the left-right frames (9) in a state of putting the left-right rods (37) in a horizontal attitude and a standing attitude. The lock mechanism (39) is constituted of a push-in type locking pin (46) energized in the projection direction between mutually rotating members of the journaling mechanism (38) and a locking hole (48) for inserting-locking the locking pin, and is constituted so as to automatically lock the pushed-in locking pin (46) toward the locking hole (48).
【課題】床天板上の作業空間を枠体で囲むことにより安全な作業を可能にすると共に、作業者が床天板を乗降する際の安全性と利便性を期した脚立式作業台に関する。【解決手段】昇降脚(2A)に臨む出入口(35)を除いて作業空間の三方を囲む枠体(6)を設け、前記出入口(35)を左右から開閉自在とする左右ロッド(37)を備えた開閉機構(36)を構成しており、枠体(6)の左右フレーム(9)を固定軸手段(40)として前記左右ロッド(37)を回動自在に軸支する軸支機構(38)と、該左右ロッド(37)を水平姿勢及び起立姿勢とした状態で左右フレーム(9)に係脱自在に係止固定するロック機構(39)を設けており、前記ロック機構(39)は、前記軸支機構(38)の相互に回動する部材の間において、突出方向に付勢された押込み式の係止ピン(46)と、前記係止ピンを挿通係止する係止孔(48)により構成され、押込まれた係止ピン(46)を係止孔(48)に向けて自動ロックするように構成されている。【選択図】図３
