To provide a workbench, which improves work efficiency for a specific task using a stepladder, that can be easily and firmly attached to the stepladder.SOLUTION: A workbench for use with a stepladder 1 of the present disclosure is used in such a manner of being attached to the stepladder 2, includes a main body 11 formed with a mounting plate 12 on which specified work tools are placed and an opening 13 provided in the main body 11, into which an upper part 2a of the stepladder 2 is inserted to form an engagement state with the stepladder 2 when the stepladder 2 is in use with its legs opened in the shape of a "truncated chevron." And the mounting plate 12 is positioned adjacent to the opening 13 in a direction parallel to the direction of extension of the treads 21 of the stepladder when a top 2a of the stepladder is inserted into the opening 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
