PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal joint, without causing water leakage, by further improving watertightness, by fixing a connected pipe, by enabling a constructor to adjust at a desired angle.SOLUTION: A universal joint 1 is constituted of a first joint part 2, a second joint part 10, a presser member 18 and packing 23. When rotating the presser member 18, a plurality of projection parts 6 projected in a movable part 4 of the first joint part 2 and a plurality of projection parts 14 projected in a receiving part 12 of the second joint part 10, engage with each other, and a connection angle of the first joint part 2 and the second joint part 10 is fixed. At this time, the packing 23 is deformed by the presser member 18 and the second joint part 10, and improves the watertightness by being strongly brought into close contact with the first joint part 2.
【課題】施工者が所望する角度において調整し、接続された配管を固定することができるとともに、さらに水密性を向上させ、漏水が生じることのない自在継手を提供すること課題とする。【解決手段】自在継手1は第一継手部2、第二継手部10、押さえ部材18、パッキン23より構成されている。押さえ部材18を回転させると、第一継手部2の可動部4に突設された複数の凸部6と第二継手部10の受け部12に突設された複数の凸部14が係合し、第一継手部2と第二継手部10の連結角度が固定される。又、この時押さえ部材18と第二継手部10によってパッキン23が変形し、第一継手部2に強く密着して水密性を向上させる。【選択図】図1
