PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed pearlite having equivalent bulk density to conventional level, hardly being collapsed and pulverized to pressure and hardly being friction deleted and hardly generating fine powder.SOLUTION: There is provided a foamed pearlite obtained by heating and foaming an obsidian grain produced by pulverizing an obsidian raw stone from Ajimu. A bulk density is 0.1 g/cmor more and 0.3 g/cmor less, compression settlement percentage by a fracture ratio test according to Nexco specification JHS-109 is 1.5% or more and 2.5% or less at a load of 60 to 100 kN/mto particle size of 1 to 3 mm, 3.5% or more and 7.0% or less at a load of 50 to 100 kN/mto particle size of 3 to 5 mm, and 9.0% or more and 30.0% or less at the load of 30 to 100 kN/mto the particle size of 5 to 25 mm.
【課題】従来と同程度の嵩比重で、押圧力に対して圧潰・粉砕され難く、擦削され難く微粉が生じ難い発泡パーライトの提供。【解決手段】安心院産黒曜石原石を粉砕生成される黒曜石粒体を加熱発泡させてなる発泡パーライトである。嵩比重0.1g/cm3以上0.3g/cm3以下であり、かつNexco規格JHS−109に準拠の破砕率試験による圧縮沈下率が、粒度1〜3mmに対して積荷荷重60〜100kN/m2において1.5%以上2.5%以下、粒度3〜5mmに対して積荷荷重50〜100kN/m2において3.5%以上7.0%以下、粒度5〜25mmに対して積荷荷重30〜100kN/m2において9.0%以上30.0%以下であることを特徴とする。【選択図】図4
